E and C are trying a five day British Soccer camp here in town. Although it's not really "camp" since I have to stay with them! Connor's class is half an hour( just the right amount for his 2 year-old attention span!) and Ella's class is an hour. She does great-listens to Coach Ben, practices"squashing the bug"( stopping the ball with your foot) and carefully kicking the "egg" ( ball)-her friends Olivia and Catie are in her class and Connor has his friends, Thomas and Amelia in his class. The weather has been cool this week so perfect for a little soccer each morning!
Today I took the kids to their friends party--complete with a real firetruck! They got to climb all over it, spray the house and take a ride in it! Smiles all around!

After the party...yup, I carried the whole car seat in...
Spent two days at the cabin-just Dad, Heather and my kids. Farm market, BLT's and Hunter's Stew, walked around Middlebury, sat on the porch and got away. Ahhh...
It's not super warm today ( beautiful 75 degrees!) and we went to storytime at the library then did our favorite summer lazy day activity and headed to the pool! It's 2 minutes from our house. School is still in for older kids so we had the place to ourselves!
We ventured out on a cool and cloudy June day to pick fresh strawberries. We took the " Berry Ferry"(wagon pulled by a truck) out to the field and picked about 10 pounds of berries in 20 or so minutes! A few were sampled in the field! Now our freezer is filled and we've already had a bowl of fresh berries with whipped cream.
