Recital

Ella ( and Ava) danced in their 3rd(!) dance recital last weekend. They were Rapunzel. So cute-what a great job. Two shows over the weekend made for tired girls! Even Connor came to the 7pm show on Saturday night( Daddy, Bubba and Connor left at intermission-Connor wouldn't have made it another hour!)

At the beginning and end of each school year Ella was asked to do a "self-portrait"
Here's the progression from starting at just 2.10 years-old to 5.5 years old. Pretty neat!

Mother's Day

Today i celebrated being a mama to my two favorite kiddies. We took a nice bike ride/walk on the rail trail with a rest stop at the playground. Then we headed to a new frozen yogurt place and spent the afternoon playing in the yard while Daddy constructed our new ( hand-me-down) swingset. Dinner was homemade soup and cheese quesadillas( kids request.)
The night before we spent the evening in Norwalk with our families celebrating April/May birthdays ( Will and Alec). A very nice weekend. So happy to be a mommy to my two little blessings.

Spring Day

Beautiful Spring day...church then bagels at home, a walk and working on the house and yard...and tractor rides! Mexicali Rose for dinner...a good day together.
