Sweet boy

Connor is such a sweet, gentle soul. I want to remember the days of him tucking his baby into bed( really is Ella's baby)... I know it won't last forever.

1st Grade and Preschool

Time is flying by...Connor learned to swim with his face in the water today and Ella has lost eight baby teeth. Slow down and let me enjoy every moment! Off to first grade and second year of preschool they go...

It was like life came full circle... Taking Ella to visit calm and climb Mt. Rattlesnake. Just the two of us enjoying the special time together and the special place that is so much of who I am today...

Memorial Day Weekend at the cabin

We drove up to the cabin in pouring rain Friday night. It rained off and on Saturday, but we had a nice time walking around Middlebury on Saturday. Sunday we kayaked, fished( Ella and Connor both caught two rock bass!) and took a nice long walk. Ella paddled by herself in a kayak( I towed her) and Connor rode his bike all weekend without the training wheels! They're growing up too fast!
Bernie loved his first visit to the cabin!
Can't wait to go back in August, but first mist get through the last few weeks of school!

Dogs

We took care of our friends two labs. And while they were very sweet, it was a lot of craziness in our small house. Bernie loved his friends though and just loved playing with them. Think he was sad to see them go.
